In Daniel chapter 7 (7:7-8, 19-20, 23-25) Daniel has a vision (to come up in the "latter-days") of four beasts that come up from out of the ocean (Ref. study on Daniel c7 this site). These first three beasts rise up at different times in modern history and were in their time "Superpowers" but have declined in their power and/or world authority. The fourth beast is a fore-view of the Antichrist which is prophecied to arise in the latter-days with great power and deceives many.

In Daniel chapter 8 (8:8-12, 23-25) Daniel has a vision of a beast he calls the "He-goat." The He-goat attacks a ram having two horns its self. This vision was a picture of Alexander the Great (He-goat) going to war with Persia (the ram). Alexander dies at an early age and his kingdom is divided into four smaller kingdoms and given to each of his four generals. From out of the area of the Syrian horn, Daniel sees the rise of a fifth horn. This fifth horn is a for-view of the modern-day Antichrist and points us to the part of the world, if not the people group of the Antichrist.

In Daniel chapter 11 (11:36-39) Daniel introduces us to the "Wilful King." This king will do as he pleases. His only goal is to exalt and magnify himself above all the gods. He speaks blasphemous things against the God of all gods in heaven. He shall also prosper in everything he does. He shows no regard for the desire of women nor of the customs of his fathers and, but honors the god of war and power and strength. He will give great honor to those who acknowledge him and cause them to rule over the many and divided the land for a price. This is the Antichrist of the "Latter-days."

Here we find the fulfillment of the "ten toes" of king Nebuchadnezzar's Colossus statue (Dan.2). The ten KINGDOM confederacy spoken of in Rev. 17:12. The entire world will be divided up into TEN KINGDOMS ruled over by these ten future kings.

Pauls Foreview (II Thessalonians 2:3-12). Paul, in this second writing to the church in Thessalonica, gives the church a warning. Don't let anyone deceive you, for there is coming a great apostasy first. Apostasy in scriptures is defined by a rejection of or falling away from the faith you once help too (a sign of the soon coming of the Lord). This Paul says must happen before the "Man of Sin," the Antichrist is revealed. He is already in the world, he has not been revealed yet.
Paul tells us a little bit about this man of sin. He exhausts himself about all other living things and individuals or any gods. He honors only himself and so he will take control of the Jewish Temple at the time, and sit in the holiest place and display himself as God.

In v6 Paul talks about that for now this ma of sin is restrained, waiting for his time. When he does he will deceive many with signs and wonders that all men might fall down and worship him. This is the time of the ten kings who are given power and authority over all the governments bringing them into ten confederacies (the ten toes of Nebuchadnezzar's Colossus image (Dan. 2)

John's Foreview (Revelation 13:1-7). John starts by telling us of the real power behind the Antichrist, he says it is the Dragon. That ole devil, Satan, the accuser, the serpent, and the enemy, and now he resides in and is the power for both the Antichrist and the False Prophet. Remember these two are men doing Satan's bidding here on earth. They will (at Jesus' return both be thrown into the lake of fire).

John describes this Beast from out of the Sea as having 10 horns, seven heads and there were 10 crowns on the 10 horns. The 10 horns are a picture of the 10 kings to come. They are kings because there are also 10 crowns on each of the horns. Then Johnn tells us of the 7 heads which I believe are pictures of the 7 world kingdoms of man (Egyptian, Syrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greecian, Roman, Mixed kingdom (Future end-time kingdom of the Antichrist. All were controlled by Satan.) His physical description of this Beast out of the Sea as having the mouth of a LION (symbolic of England), the body was like a LEOPARD (symbolic of Germany), and the feet of a BEAR (Symbolic of Russia). These modern-day nations are not the Beast out of the Sea but part of his system which he has power over.

These are the Four Beasts out of the Sea that Daniel (Dan.c7) saw in his vision. Daniel and John agree on this fact ... we have already seen the first three nations rise and fall, we still wait for the Fourth Beast to rise up, he is the Antichrist.three

The Great Harlot, an idolatrous religious system

-
Islam is the Harlot is the idolatrous religious system, whose cup is full of the blood of the saints.
-
The water you saw, where the prostitute sits, are many peoples, nations, and languages. (Rev 17:15)
-
Islam's holy city is Mecca. Here the woman reigns over the 10 kings of the earth. (Rev. 17:18)
-
The 10 kings will turn and hate the Harlot seeking to dstroy her (Rev. 17:15-18).
I believe there will come a time in this evil and wicked world when God says "Enough is enough," and He causes events on earth to align with His will. A mystery is revealed .... whoa to you Babylon, the day of your reckoning has come.

Does the scripture tell us where this idolatrous city (Woman) is located. There is much debate and many theories so let's look to the scriptures for the answer.

John's vision in c17 that "he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns." The wilderness as John saw it was in the DESERT.
The prophet Jeremiah gives us more information as to this city's location in Jeremiah 49:21. He tells us this city is located at the Red Sea.

The Red Sea is a geographic indicator as to where this last-days Babylon city will be located. If you looked on a map at the city of Mecca you will see that it fulfills both prophecies, it is in the desert and it sits 21 miles from the Red Sea.
